Yes. Potential new members are encouraged to come along during the quieter sessions and have a go. Email or telephone the club. (Information on the Contact page.)

No. The club has a supply of bowls and shoes which can be used at no charge, however you would be expected to provide your own equipment later.

Yes. The club has a comprehensive list of qualified coaches, who are also certified under the Children and Vulnerable Persons Protection Act. Coaching is available to all members.

No. The majority of rink space is taken up by leagues and competitions, however there are always vacant rinks which can be booked in advance through the office. Once you feel confident enough, you can then join in the leagues and competitions. The club also runs sweep games on certain days during the season. You can also come down and give your name at the office and play as a substitute in the league games.

Yes. Once you have joined as a member, you can bring visitors into the club. You can also book rinks for visiting teams if they are available.

Yes. The facilities of the club are available to all members during the year, if available, for private functions. Please get in touch with the office to enquire about booking the lounge etc.

Smart but casual dress is allowed when playing league and bounce games. Grey trousers and white shirt are required for later stages of competitions and representative games. Denims are allowed in the clubhouse, but not on the greens. Ladies may wear tailored trousers when playing.
